Why do you need Shooting Insurance?
For most people who shoot, whether that be for game or targets, Public Liability Insurance is required by the shooting range or game shoot hosts.
Even if it is not a requirement, protecting yourself should you accidentally injure a member of the public or damage their belongings whilst shooting is advisable. Our Shooting Insurance provides up to £10 million Public Liability Insurance, and is underwritten by AXA XL.
Moreover, it’s easy to assume that any firearms you own will be covered under your home insurance, however, in some cases your equipment will not be covered whilst out of the house and on a shoot.
That’s why taking out a specialist Shooting Insurance policy to protect your guns and other equipment against loss and damage is important.
