What does karate insurance cover?
Our karate insurance gives you a choice of cover based on where you practise, whether you compete and the level of protection you need.
Karate travel insurance is a full sports travel policy for participants heading abroad for training camps, seminars, gradings or amateur competitions. Cover can include emergency medical treatment and repatriation, trip cancellation and curtailment, travel disruption, training or competition fees, sports equipment, personal accident, baggage and more.
Karate sports accident insurance is designed for regular training and amateur competition in the UK, including technique practice, kata, kumite, sparring, gradings and organised events. Benefits can include personal accident cover and support with rehabilitation following an injury.
From regular dojo sessions to international competitions, choose cover designed around the way you train, grade and compete.
Our policies provide three different types of cover: Sports travel insurance, Sports accident, and Activity Top-Up. Please ensure you select the most suitable cover for your activity, when you get a quote and always review your policy documents.
Sports equipment is excluded under our bolt‑on cover.
Only a summary of the policy’s coverage is presented on this page. Please refer to policy documents for full details of what is and what is not covered, when you get a quote.
