What does HYROX travel insurance cover?
Insurance tailored to the demands of HYROX training and competition abroad.
Designed for HYROX athletes travelling overseas for races, training camps, or fitness events. It includes cover for emergency medical expenses and repatriation, trip cancellation or disruption, fitness equipment, competition entry fees, search and rescue, and more.
Our policies provide three different types of cover: Sports travel insurance, Sports accident, and Activity Top-Up. Please ensure you select the most suitable cover for your activity, when you get a quote and always review your policy documents.
Sports equipment is excluded under our bolt‑on cover.

Yes, if you have to pay for medical costs abroad, due to sports related injuries, these can be covered under this policy.
If you opt for an annual travel policy you are covered throughout the year, if you choose single trip policy you are covered for the dates you select.
Yes, under Activity Fees cover you can claim for these costs, depending on the level of cover you have selected.
Yes, if you’re travelling with sports equipment this can be covered if it is stolen or damaged during your trip. If it is lost be an airline carrier, it is not covered but should be up to the airline to recover the costs.
This policy includes cancellation cover for travel up to £5000 (depending on the level of cover you select). You are also covered to claim for sports event fees if an injury mean you are unable to take part.
