What does clay pigeon shooting insurance cover?
Our clay pigeon shooting insurance is designed around the specific risks of training, recreational shoots and competition, combining liability protection with cover for valuable shotguns and equipment.
Public Liability can help protect you if you accidentally injure someone or damage third-party property while clay shooting, including associated legal defence costs. You can also add cover for guns and equipment up to £50,000, alongside Personal Accident and other shooting-specific benefits.
Only a summary of the policy’s coverage is presented on this page. Please refer to policy documents for full details of what is and what is not covered, when you get a quote.
How much does Clay Pigeon Shooting Insurance cost?
Clay pigeon shooting insurance costs can vary depending on the protection you choose. Your premium may be influenced by the level of Public Liability cover, the value of your shotguns and shooting equipment, and any optional extras you add, such as Personal Accident, Gun Dog Fees or worldwide protection.
The value lies in having specialist cover designed around the realities of clay shooting. Whether you shoot recreationally, practise regularly at a shooting ground, compete in clay pigeon events or travel with valuable guns and equipment, the right insurance can help with the financial impact of accidental damage, theft, liability claims or injury.
