Our Bowls Travel Insurance combines specialist sports cover with essential travel protection for players heading abroad for lawn bowls tours, tournaments or leisure trips.
This specialist cover can include emergency medical expenses and repatriation, trip cancellation and curtailment, travel disruption, missed departures, and lost, stolen or damaged personal belongings.
Alongside this essential travel protection, specialist sports cover can include bowls equipment, competition or activity fees and search and rescue, helping protect you while taking part in lawn bowls overseas.

Yes, our Bowls Travel Insurance can generally be taken out even if you have a medical condition. We can almost always offer cover at no extra cost, but occasionally our underwriters may apply special terms if you subsequently needed to make a claim relating to your condition.
Our policies will cover anyone up to the age of 74 at the time of purchase. An applicant aged 75 or over cannot be covered.
Yes – we don’t consider a bowls competition to be riskier than doing the activity as a leisure pursuit, so we don’t charge a higher premium for that.
