The process was very good but you do need to speak to someone.
The website was straight forward and completed it to the best of my knowledge. I still wanted to check by speaking to human that I had done everything correctly. The chap who I spoke to was very nice, friendly and knowledgeable. I explained I was a touring cyclist doing on road and off road (e.g. going on a compacted grit type path by French canals). He said I needed to be group 4 (rather than group 2) . Most touring cyclists will go on grit paths so unwittingly could find out be uninsured ! I think touring cyclists need to be group 4 so then no risk of being uninsured . That is the danger of doing everything online. My advice to any new clients is to speak to the broker so as to make sure all the facts of your risk are fully declared.

Managed to get done what I needed to in the end
It would have been better if I could have updated my card details over the phone to enable my automatic paid to have happened, or just taken payment over the phone, rather than being sent to a website to do it. The person I spoke was friendly and as helpful as they could bep
