Your clubs are protected – even off the course
The cost of replacing damaged clubs, bags, shoes, and other equipment can soon add up. That’s why our Golf Insurance protects your equipment 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Should you damage your clubs whilst playing, whether that be a broken shaft or a cracked driver your policy will cover you up to the value of between £2,000 and £7,500 depending on your level of cover. We include protection for all equipment specifically purchased to be used on the golf course.
The full list of equipment covered is as follows:
– Golf clubs
– Single-seated buggies
– GPS equipment and range finders
– Accessories specifically designed and purchased for playing golf including baggage, personal possessions and trophies, cups and awards
As an added benefit, we have no single item limits on our equipment cover. That means even if you have a particularly expensive driver, set of irons, or bag, you will always be covered up to the total amount set out in your policy schedule.
What’s more, you will be covered on a new-for-old basis, meaning that regardless of whether you have had the club for three months or three years, we will replace it with a brand-new club of the same value as your stolen or damaged equipment, if the damage is irreparable. Don’t have your original receipt? That’s no problem. Our specialist claims handlers will judge your loss or damage on a case by case basis and ensure that you are provided with an alternative to the same value.
The damage doesn’t have to occur on the course either – you are covered if your equipment falls foul of an incident in transit or at home. This includes clubs that are locked inside parked cars or lockers. So long as they are under lock and key, and out of sight in the boot, they’re protected.
