Why do you need shotgun and rifle insurance?

The cost of purchasing even a mid-level rifle or shotgun can run into thousands of pounds. Therefore covering yourself against loss, damage and theft of your guns is very much in your interest. Our policy can cover up to £50,000 worth of shooting equipment from shotguns and rifles, to sights and binoculars.

We also work on a new for old basis when replacing equipment less than three years old. Anything older than this will be treated on an indemnity basis, whereby our specialist claims handlers will provide you with an alternative to the same value of your guns in their current condition.

Our policy is also flexible enough to allow you to build your own cover. You can add on Public Liability cover which will protect you should you injure a third-party or damage their property. If they choose to sue you, having this in place will cover your legal costs and any subsequent settlements.
