Put simply, we offer three different policy options…
1. Travel Insurance
Our Sports Travel Insurance will protect you whilst taking part in football tours and competitions abroad, and includes cover for medical and repatriation costs, trip cancellation and curtailment, plus more.
2. Travel Insurance Bolt-On
If you have an existing travel insurance policy in place with another provider such as your bank but it does not include cover for football tours, we can provide a bolt-on style of protection for your trip.
3. Sports Accident Insurance
Our Sports Accident Insurance is designed to protect you whilst taking part in football tours and competitions in the UK, whether that be with your friends or local club. The policy provides a range of benefits including personal liability and income protection.

Standard travel insurance policies do not generally cover tours and competitions. Our Sports Travel Insurance is specifically designed to protect you and your local club when taking part in amateur tournaments and competitions.
No, unfortunately our policies can not provide cover for professionals. A professional is any person who derives more than £5,000 income per calendar year from their participation in a sport or activity. Benefits received such as free or reduced-cost accommodation, entry fees or clothing are not considered to be income.
Also any person who has a contract of employment (paid or unpaid), a sports scholarship or where their full-time occupation is undertaking the sport / activity.
Yes, our Football Tours Travel Insurance can generally be taken out even if you have a medical condition. We can almost always offer cover at no extra cost, but occasionally our underwriters may apply special terms if you subsequently needed to make a claim relating to your condition.
Our policies will cover anyone up to the age of 74 at the time of purchase. An applicant aged 75 or over cannot be covered.
