10. Midnight Sun Marathon, Norway
The most northern race is the world means that with 24 hours of daylight in June this race starts at 8.30pm! It may be sub-zero temperatures in places but with the views of the snowy mountains and running through the quaint Norwegian villages should more than take your mind of the cold!
9. Niagara Falls Marathon, USA/Canada
Following the scenic Niagara Parkway, this is the only race where you start in one country and end in another! Of course, at the end of the 26.2 miles the finish line is the iconic Niagara Falls.
