Why do I need Accident Insurance?Every accident is, by its very nature, an unpredictable event. The only thing predictable about accidents is that they will continue to happen with unrelenting regularity. Unfortunately, being careful does not guarantee that you will not be the victim of someone else's mistake! Statistics can predict accident rates for any given Sport or Activity but no-one can predict when they will occur or who will be involved. An accident does not always cause damage or cost money but is more likely to if the nature of the Sport or Activity being undertaken means that you may fall heavily, are in contact with others or involves moving at high speed. No-one can ensure that they are not involved in Accidents but everyone can take steps to reduce their effects - and remember that Accidents do not exclusively effect those who cause them. No one should suffer financially as a result of an accident. The trauma of the accident itself may cause enough suffering. The SportsGuard policy is designed to ensure that you have some compensation and protection for financial loss as a result of an accident and some help in recovering. These web pages provide a summary of the cover provided by SportsCover Direct. They do not form part of a contract. Read a copy of the full Terms, Conditions and Exclusions click here.
